What kind of TV do I need?
Any smart TV with a web browser, or any TV with a cheap streaming stick or an old laptop plugged in. It only needs Wi-Fi.
Do I need a token display machine?
No. The TV link replaces the machine. The receptionist calls the next patient from their phone, and the TV updates at once.
Does the TV show patient names?
No. It shows only token numbers and doctor names, so nothing private is on the screen.
Can it show more than one doctor?
Yes. Each doctor in session gets their own panel with the current and next token, and doctors on leave today are listed.
What if the internet drops?
The TV reconnects by itself and catches up with the queue as soon as the connection is back.
Can I change the link if someone else gets it?
Yes. The owner can make a new TV link from the settings at any time, and the old one stops working.
